Sharing Session with INFORMM: Enhancing Financial Generation through Strategic Collaboration
PENANG, 14th August 2025 – USAINS Biomics was invited as a guest speaker for the ” Sesi Perkongsian Ilmu: Penjanaan Kewangan ” organized by the Financial Generation Committee at INFORMM, Universiti Sains Malaysia.
The session was attended by INFORMM staff from both the Main Campus in Penang and the Kelantan Campus, with participation facilitated via online conferencing.
The presentation focused on the role of USAINS Biomics as the commercial arm of USM, specifically in managing and promoting laboratory testing services to industry and the wider market. These efforts play a role in supporting sustainable income generation for the university and its affiliated centres.
The session also served as a valuable platform for INFORMM staff to gain insights into the scope of services offered by USAINS Biomics, and to explore strategic avenues for collaboration that could further enhance income-generating opportunities.
